5 Days Trek in Bukit Lawang
Itinerary :
Day one
Begin trek at 8-9 am, walk 6-7 hrs through jungle spotting animals and discovering medicinal plants. Take lunch break before continuing to campsite. Rest and enjoy hot drink, shower in jungle river, and dinner provided.
Day two
Get ready for a 6-7 hour trek after breakfast. Discover wildlife and medicinal plants, have lunch in the jungle, relax at the campsite near the river bank, shower in a small jungle river, watch animals in the salt lake at 5-6 p.m., and prepare dinner.
Day three
After breakfast, trek for 5-6 hours around the camp to spot wild animals and collect jungle vegetables. Return to camp to relax and shower. At 5-6 p.m., observe animals at Salt Lake. Prepare dinner and enjoy in beautiful jungle surroundings.
Day four
You'll have breakfast, then trek for 5-6 hours to another camp. Observe wildlife, discover medicinal plants, and learn about "jungle food." Lunch will be in the jungle. Continue trekking to the campsite near the river. Shower, relax, dinner at camp.
Day five
After breakfast, take some time to relax at the camp. Then, either walk or tube raft down the river to return to Bukit Lawang after lunch.
The cost per person is 250 euros.
The minimum group size should consist of two to three persons.
The maximum group size should be limited to four to eight persons.
Price includes :
Fully licensed English-speaking jungle guide.
Permits to enter the national park PHPA office ( ranger station ) camera tax 150,000, IDR
Permits from the Bukit Lawang Guide Association.
Foods and fruits, drinking water during jungle trekking.
Tent, sleeping mat, blanket/shed, mosquito net.
Traditional tube rafting back to Bukit Lawang.
